About Me

Hyeshin Park PhD LCSWC MSSA

Experiencing a disconnect between where you want to be and where you are in your behaviors, work or relationships can be anxiety provoking. You probably want to understand yourself better, find healthier coping strategies, and make positive changes. Sometimes, it is difficult to do this on our own. Reaching out for help in our immediate social circle can also be daunting because of fear of judgment.

I strive to provide a safe and respectful space to aid in your exploration. Whether individually or with your significant others/family, I will work with you as a team to address your concerns. Ultimately, my goal is to increase your self-awareness to live a more fully realized life.

I am fluent in both English and Korean. I am an adjunct faculty at University of Maryland, School of Social Work and also serve as an honorary council at My Life Foundation, a center for substance use and addiction for Asian Americans. I am also a board approved supervisor and provide supervision for LMSWs.
