Individual Therapy

Many individuals decide to seek a therapists at some point in their lives. The need appears to be greater, especially today, as we are globally experiencing significant changes.

The support of families, friends and communities should not be undermined; however, sometimes we feel as though such is not enough. We may find that it is difficult to be truly vulnerable or to converse in a way that is hyper-focused on our growth and struggles. To this end, a skilled and caring clinician can be helpful.

Although the outcome and experience can vary, just beginning the process of therapy can ease some of the isolation and gloom that we feel. Therapy can help elucidate your strengths and diversify your coping to move towards positive change.

“But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself—to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life.”
